Brent Boswell (born March 4, 1971) is an American young-adult fiction writer and playwright best known for his action adventure novels,Brother’s Bones, Big Mean Pig, Mission Invisible: The Magician’s Curse, and the best-selling Christmas novella, The Santa Exclusive. As a playwright, he wrote and directed. The Mormon Handcart Pageant, an outdoor, nighttime production depicting the 1856 crucible migration of the Martin and Willie Handcart Companies to Utah, and their subsequent rescue, which ran for eight season and played to over 100,000 people.

Mr. Boswell is a popular fireside speaker on the subject of the Mormon Handcart Migration. He is also a sought after keynote and presenter at a verity of writer’s conferences, elementary and middle school assemblies, and high school career fairs.

Brent currently resides in a log cabin located in the hills above his childhood home in Utah.
